To
permanently innovate, to create that which has never been tried, to
develop the maximum of technologies and performance on an inexpensive
speaker line, this is another facet of Focal innovation.
For the
first time in the history of Chorus, we have introduced an
essential element such as design so that the speaker not only be
perceived as a technical object that is too rational, and as
inevitably boring as low-tech can be. Entrusted to the Parisian design
house “Pineau et Le Porcher”, the silhouette of Chorus 700 V is
identical to that of Chorus 800 V. |

Our offering of subwoofer, as well as centre channel and surround
speakers, has been developed in parallel with the other Chorus 700 V
speakers to ensure a natural 3D sound field

Tweeter Beryllium
The reversed
dome tweeter is a hallmark of Focal-JMlab.
As a result of more than twenty years of development
into a tweeter that could produce a high output, but
without requiring high energy input and without
increasing directivity, the technology of the reversed
dome offers a real alternative to the conventional positive
dome.

Diva Utopia
Be
As
the first "lifestyle" speaker in the Utopia Be range, the
Diva is the result of a clear brief: to adapt and transfer all of the
technologies of the Utopia Be line-up into in a compact floor-stander,
optimized to operate in any size of room.
The
Diva adopts a mid-high end driver arrangement, including the famous
pure Beryllium inverted dome tweeter and 6-1/2" Power Flower
mid-range cone, but develops extra deep bass from twin 8"
"W" cones, operating in push-push mode, mounted on each
side at the bass of the speaker.
This
solution makes it possible to preserve the natural fluid sound of a
narrow column, but without conceding a loss in overall performance.

| The
Sub Utopia Be completes the last link in creating a multichannel or
stereo system of the very highest level. The 16" (40cm)
"W" membrane is powered by a gigantic Multiferrite motor
adding up to more than 8kg of magnet and delivering considerable
energy into a high tech four-layer voice coil.
With
such very high performance levels, the Sub utopia Be can faithfully
recreate the most demanding movie sound effects with a realistic,
punch delivery guaranteed whatever the dimensions of the listening
